Snow Day!

We had a snow day on Friday and Daddy stayed home from work! Daddy put up a tent in our family room and we had fun playing it. We also played in the snow outside and Elijah loved it! He had a great snow suit thanks to Uncle Dee Dee and Aunt Kristin. We had to keep him away from the yellow snow though......

"This tent is awesome!"

"Tell me the truth....how does my hair look?"

"You talkin' to me?"

"Dad, let me get out there!!!"

"Come on, come on, lets DO THIS!!"

"Here we go!!"

"I am so cute!"

"Ooooo, snow looks good enough to eat!"

"What is over there?"

"Mommy, this is fun!"

Adventure Aquarium!

Monday we went to the Adventure Aquarium, which was Elijah's first visit! He had fun looking at the fish and I was more scared of the sharks than Elijah was! And of course Daddy had fun making funny faces in the pictures. We will try to upload some video of our day soon.

"Dad, let me in there! I want to swim!"

"Turtle! "

"Dad, what do you see??"

"I am Nemo!"

"Mommy is touching a ray!"

"The cops are after us, Dad, run!" (apparently pictures of the shark tank don't come out)
"Long day, but I had fun!"

Moonbounce!

Today we went on a play date with our Moms In Christ group to Moonbounce Adventures. It is in West Chester and has lots of bouncing equipment. That was the first time were there and Elijah LOVED IT! It took a little while for him to get used to the bouncy nature of the place, but once he did, it was all giggles from there! Of course much of it Mommy had to go on with him, but I was so surprised how well he climbed! I posted some pictures below. If anybody has any little ones, it is a GREAT place to go in the winter when you feel cooped up and children under 18 months old get in free! Take care! Love, The DeBolt Family

Getting over a case of the sniffles.....

Elijah had a very relaxed week last week because he was getting over a case of the sniffles (does anyone really call it that anymore?!?!). And what better way to get over a cold than to go to a park, right? :) We went to East Goshen Park and if anyone lives nearby, it is a great park for little guys Elijah's age. He actually drove a car, so if that doesn't scream age appropriate, I don't know what does! :) He also slept a lot for his naps and I couldn't resist taking a picture! We read a lot and espeically his favorite book 'My Big Animal Book'. And as you can see, he loves crawling under things and finding little private areas of any room and just watching things happen from there. We also visited the Weldon's and got to hold their newest addition, Rowan. Elijah liked to 'pet' the baby, so there were many reminders to use 'nice touch'. Elijah was also lucky enough to have Aunt Michelle watch him while Chad and I could go to a church dinner. He also got to hang out with Mom Mom and cousin Nathan too, since Downingtown is on strike. Elijah loves his Nathan!!! I also want to give a shout out to Susan Ford who is in labor right now with their second baby to be named Mia! Praying for you! And our week would not be complete without goofing around with Daddy! Elijah loves to get on Daddy's shoulders! Take care everyone and God bless! Peace out! The DeBolt Family
